Fees

Tuition fees are as follows:

•  for the Television Stream:             Rs. 325,000
•  for the Print Stream:                    Rs. 275,000
•  for the Radio Stream:                   Rs. 275,000
•  for the New Media Stream:            Rs. 275,000

These fees are to be paid in two equal instalments, according to the following schedule:

•  First installment by June 17, 2013
•  Final installment by July 1, 2013

The fees are subject to service tax @ 12.36% which should be paid along with the final installment.

Residential Accommodation

The accommodation and food (breakfast, lunch, snacks with Tea/Coffee and dinner) will cost each student Rs. 85,000 for the academic year.

Every student opting for accommodation arranged by the college has to pay a caution deposit of Rs. 5000, which will be returned, less deductions for liabilities if any, at the end of the year.

Students who need residential accommodation should send an advance of Rs. 10,000/- with their first instalment of tuition fees. Accommodation will be offered on a first-come - first-serve basis. The balance of Rs. 80,000 (inclusive of caution deposit) should be paid on or before July 1, 2013.

Please note that no request for refund of fees will be entertained. Once a candidate is admitted the seat allotted to him or her stands filled and it is not possible to fill the seat if the candidate does not join the course. Please note that fees once paid will not be refunded even if the candidate does not join the course.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The ACJ offers scholarships on a merit-cum-means basis to students seeking and qualifying for them. The full and partial scholarships cover tuition fees and, in special cases, living expenses.

Candidates applying for SC/ST scholarships should produce community certificate and proof of annual family income as stated in the application form.

The South Asia Foundation (SAF) offers scholarships for study at the ACJ to students from the eight SAARC countries: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and India. For details please check the SAF website: www.southasiafoundation.org
